Pablo Picasso, who lived from October 25, 1881 to April 8, 1973, is one of the most recognized artists of the twentieth century. A co-founder of the Cubist movement who explored a variety of styles during the course of his career, in an equal variety of media, Picasso was a visionary, the legacy of whose work is still clearly visible in the artistic and cultural dialogue of the present day.
