Adolfo G. Bigioni

Born Latina (near Rome), Italy, 1974

Adolfo graduated in 1993 from the Academy of Painting in Latina. After graduation, he continued with studies in surgical anatomy illustration and design at the University of Rome "La Sapienza"(from 1993 to 1997). 

Bigioni started his career by illustrating several books of human anatomy for the National Surgery Academy. He made several atlases of the human anatomy including volumes IV and V directed by Dr. VE Andreucci (on behalf of the 'National Academy of Medicine of Genoa). Starting in 2006, he dedicates his focus totally to figurative oil painting and paints still lives with incredible impact. In 2007, he starts teaching at the VI Latin Didactic of State, within the project for the laboratory manipulative pictorial chart.
